White Picket Fences
I always wondered
why White Suburban
Moms and Dads
liked Drinking and House Parties
So Much.
then I realized,
one evening sitting
peacefully in their
huge and empty backyards:
that’s how they Escape from
the Mundanity their “lives”
have to offer:
A Loveless Marriage
or A Heartless Family;
A Nosy Neighbor
or A Lousy Job.
the Confines of their
White Picket Fences
hold them so dearly,
so tightly,
that a spiked drink is
just the thing to momentarily
set them Free.
Now I see
why White Suburban
Moms and Dads and Families
are so, so Unhappy.
